Independent Living Inc. is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians certified by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board to provides one-on-one applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children with developmental delays and disabilities. Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) must have a: high school diploma or equivalent, background check, completion the 40-hour web based RBT training course, competency assessment, and examination. RBTs are responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services while working closely with supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts. They also work closely with other pediatric disciplines (Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Early Interventionists) to teach children language, communication, social skills, daily living skills, pre-academic skills, and so much more.
Independent Living Inc. is an approved site for University of South Florida’s ABA Supervised Practicum. Additionally, we offer Supervised Independent Fieldwork for graduate students enrolled in an ABA course sequence (i.e. Florida Institute of Technology, Ball State, University of West Florida).
