The 2010 Tampa Bay Walk Now for Autism Speaks was May 1st 2010. Over 2,500 participants raised over $180,000 in St. Petersburg, Florida for the Tampa Bay Walk. This year we had many different fund raisers for the cause. If you wanted to wear jeans you donated $2 to Autism:o) We also had a bake sale that was very successful. Autism Speaks is a charity that is very important to all of us at Independent Living, we see children and families everyday trying to deal with Autism. The more research that is done the better chance we have at finding a cure.
