Independent Living Inc. Pediatric Therapy is happy to announce Patty OGrady, Ph.D. from the University of Tampa and her team has been working with the Glazer Children’s Museum on a special project called Sunshine Sundays. On designated Sunday mornings the Museum will open it’s doors to children with disabilities only. Families with children with disabilities and schools/organizations serving children with disabilities might bring their children to the Museum when it is quieter so a more personal experience is enjoyed.
The first Sunshine Sunday is now scheduled for July 31, 2011 10:00 am to 12:30 am.
Dr. O’Grady and her team are also coordinating with the Museum to identify a “Circle of Friends” who are experts in the area of special needs children to assist the Museum in implementing Sunshine Sundays! If you would be willing to serve as a member of the Glazer Children’s Museum’s Sunshine Sundays “Circle of Friends” Committee, contact Patty OGrady, Ph.D.
